We process such data in accordance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR) (where applicable), and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), insofar as these regulations apply to us.

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Article 6(1)(b) UK/EU GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures
  • Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR – legitimate interests (e.g. security, fraud prevention, website stability)

4. Data storage and retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless:

  • you have provided consent for longer retention;
  • the data is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Files sent via our Service are deleted automatically after 30 days.

5. Hosting and email

When you access our website, server log files are automatically collected and stored by our hosting provider Raidboxes GmbH. These log files include information such as:

This data is not assigned to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources. The data is stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted following statistical evaluation. This processing is necessary for technical reasons and for maintaining the stability and security of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9. Subprocessors

10. Cookies

We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies requiring consent. If this changes, we will implement a cookie consent mechanism in accordance with the UK/EU GDPR.

11. Client data

We process email addresses and transaction-related metadata of file recipients (“Client”) in order to deliver Transfers, provide support and comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

12. Amendments

This Privacy Policy may be updated in line with legal or operational requirements. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
